Today we talk with Carolyn who teaches beginners to advanced classes on photography.
Why are you passionate about your class, and where did your passion stem from?
Photography is my therapy, my income & my passion. I have been doing it since first studying it in High School. I have since found out (after doing my family tree) my ancestors were employees of Kodak doing what is known as lithography (painting over black & white photos). It is in the blood!
Why should people attend your class?
I use simple language and try to customise the lesson to what my student wants and needs. They just have to tell me.What personal traits do you offer as a host, which make your class or activity extra special? I am pretty casual, and patient. I work with the very beginner, and cater to their learning styles.
What experience do you create for your attendees?
I have been told my lesson was easily digested & gave relief to my students knowing they were not a failure and we all make mistakes. Photography can be complex, especially when you start to use editing software. We all started at the bottom, knowing little or nothing about photography, and that is how I begin the lesson.
What are you looking forward to the most when it comes to hosting?
I love to meet new people with a budding desire to learn more about photography. Especially when I know I can help them get their good shots, to Epic.
