Calling all Canberra locals - great art competition for children, supporting threatened species.


ACT Threatened Species Childrens Art Competition 2019

Young artists aged 5-12 years old paint or draw an original work of art featuring ANY Australian threatened plant and/or animal species.

ACT Finalists’ artworks will be printed and hung in an outdoor exhibition at the Australian National Botanic Gardens on National Threatened Species Day September 7th. Prizes are awarded in three age categories as well as for many special themes. Note 2 new prizes Best All Abilities and Best Local Species -the ACT local area extends to the sea including coastal SE NSW (Jervis Bay!)
